Ever used RefreshMint or any other body wash or brace

Since the hot *sigh* weather is finally here, I figured it would be nice of me to give my cutting horses a body wash with liniment after working/showing. I have ordered some RefreshMint by Absorbine, so are there any users out there of any sort of wash or brace? Ever had any reaction to them?

I have used Refreshmint many times and have never had a problem with it. The horses really seemed to enjoy it too!
As with any product...read the direstions before using.

I've used Vetrolin. I think my guys find it refreshing after a workout on a hot day I think it keeps their muscles loose too

Less is more with bodywash/brace products. Always dilute.
I've known a few horses who have had reactions. My horse isn't into the tingling, so I just wash him an oatmeal based brace.

I've always loved the scent of vetrolin, and thats a product that one of my trainers always swore by. They used it for a bracing solution after a tough workout on horses that tended to have sore muscles and then just as a rinse a lot of times for the other horses (more diluted) after a bath etc. I dont recall any of the horses ever having a reaction to it... But I agree...always check out the directions!

we use that at my barn....the horses really enjoy it...cools them off and makes them feel "refreshed"
like everyone has said...follow the instructions....
just use it on a small area of the horses body and wait 5 minutes....if you dont see any reaction (allergic) then continue on the rest of the body....
allergies just varies from horse to horse as with person to person
