Ever Seen a 6'9" 300# Man Cry? I am that Man and I Did Today!

I had a child over today who has a terminal disease. They asked to come to my home and ride with me. So the child came and we had a great ride and a wonderful meal after. When we were done I was told how special it was an thanks.

If you ever want to know why "HORSE FOLK" love them, that is why. This child forgot they were sick and the back of a horse and a stranger spending some time with them made them have a "memory" day.

I am that 6'9" 300# man and I am here to say when the young person left, I balled like a baby. Hug your kids and thank the Lord they are healthy, and remember why we love these precious creatures the way we do! My drafts are gorgeous animals and I love them, and call it what you might they treated this child like Royalty and that young person did more for me and my horses than I ever did.

Oh what a beautiful story. I hug my kids several times a day and Thank the Lord that they are healthy! I kiss them goodnight and make sure that I tell them how much I love them every single day.

I don't know how I would be able to handle one of my children becoming terminally ill!

What a wonderful, special perfectly beautiful thing you have done for this child! I bet you gave there mom a wonderful Mothers day gift as well, seeing her baby so happy!

So true. I had cancer when I was 14, I wasn't aloud to ride but just being with a horse made the world seem so much kinder
