I know how frusterated you are. Wow, I just watched the vid of the poor guy....I couldnt imagine seeing my horse like that on a regular basis.
I am glad that you found a university to take him to. I was going to suggest U of F here in Gainesville. They have a wonderful staff there, and a payment plan). And I'm only 15 min from there
I really hope you can get some answers on this. At first, I thought Tying up, but after watching him, I have never seen one tye up like that before. Very perplexing to say the least. Please keep us updated (I know you will)

Went out and spent 5 1/2 hours with Shay today. He did pretty well until I gave him a bath and sprayed his leg like chiro told me to do. The cold water sent him into several episodes!!! I am sorry - I am NOT going to do that anymore. We will wait and see what vet school says. I just cannot see how triggering that much pain can be good for him.

I gave him his second dose of Panacure today. I think we have pumped that poor fella with about everything.

Thank you for asking about being ready to go to Auburn - I have:

borrowed trailer
leg protection for Shay
video
daily log
x-rays
insurance inf.
immunization records
map

Is there anything else I should be thinking about? Suggestions for travel? etc.? Need all the help I can get - we want to do this right and get Shay well!

We plan to take him down Tuesday evening for his 9 am Wednesday appointment. I plan on meeting with docs with my load of inf.

If you're anything like me, I always have a ton of questions in my head that I want to ask. Then everything goes blank
Write a list if you need to. That's what I have to do most of the time.
Oh, also bring the phone# of the clinic you are going to. If you get turned around, you can call them to get directions and let them know if you are running late. You arent going by yourself are ya??
