| Senior Member+ | Color coordinate! It's just the fun thing to do. Who cares what other people say? The vast majority of eventers color coordinate, and don't care what you dress you and your horse in. We're fun people

| Senior Member+ | AWESOME! Or maybe "Blaze Orange". That would be hilarious. (That's the official name for "hunters-please-don't-shoot-me-orange"

| Senior Member+ | I must say, although I am all for nice colors that are bright - please restrain from having everything everything everything all one color! There's a girl I compete against, and she literally has everything BRIGHT ORANGE. Yes, the normal stuff - gloves, helmet cover, saddle pad, and horse's boots - orange, but she also has an orange event vest, bridle padding, XC shirt, breeches, and her boots are orange. Honestly looking at her all set for XC can be painful! My trainer has a competitor who has a ton of pink stuff - she's actually known as the "pink" girl ( My horse's colors are burgundy and light blue, and the horse I lease's colors are green and light blue - and I see many PCers with similar crazy colors, which is fine, they're young and they're in pony club - of course they can be brightly colored! However, when I watched Andrew Hoy in the Sydney Olympics (I believe it was) in the colors that he did (bright bright blue and bright bright green) with that helmet cover with both of those and a pinwheel (I SWEAR THERE WAS ONE!!!) - I called my trainer in horror! This is one of the best eventers of all time, not a junior pony clubber!! Anyways, that's my spiel. IMO it's fine as long as it's not distracting, and as long as it's suitable for your level (yes, pink and purple are suitable up through Prelim I think
