ok.
i have an Appendix horse and we want to do enlgish type at halter..showmanship..and hunter at halter. but since she is appendix i am not exactly sure how i am supposed to set her up in these halter classes.
and just making sure...english type at halter=bridle right.?
just let me know what i should do.

I show my Tb gelding in SMS, both western and english. If I'm showing sms, I always set up square, english or western. If I'm showing halter (which I hardley ever do because my boy has terrible confo...) I set him up more "hunterish" (I can dig up a picture if you want but I think you know what I mean).

Some judges may not "like" hunter-type horses in western, but as long as they have good patterns, it shouldn't matter.

And yes, if you are doing hunt-showmanship, you show with a bridle.

i wasnt sure if i went into english type at halter if i had to set up hunter ish..like square front and then the one unsquared leg. but yes thanks also am i supposed to switch her back legs when the judge comes by. like when he looks at her other side. you want it to be the most appealing with the leg she is looking at out. right.?
