I have a light blue hunt coat, so I love my light blue show shirt under it.

I dont mine colored shirts (I use them myself) but I think some people go alittle far!

I always make it a rule that the shirt should be lighter than the jacket (i.e. baby colors baby blues, pinks, greens, ect.)

and not dark, bright or bold colors... like bright orange or lime green Yes I have seen it! lol

I agree... the bright stuff is just too much. I also don't like the new trend of light colored jackets. In the USEF rule book it says

Riders should wear coats of any tweed or melton for hunting (conservative wash jackets in season)

So I am not sure what they consider to be conservative washes... but I would think navy black and maybe hunter green... but unless they say what colors exactly... people will continue to do the light colored jackets.

like what light colors dont you like? like greys? or the beige/tan/goldie looking ones...i kind of like those when put with the right shirt AND horse..i personally LOVE grey jackets..but more of the dark/slate grey...i got a jacket that was suppose to be "steel blue" and i just wanted to see what color it was..turned out it was a dark grey with the tiniest dark blue in it lol..so i kept it. it also had really thin gold pinstriped in it which i thought was cool...i also wish that the new trend or w/e would become dark brown jackets with dark brown tall boots and a dark brown helemt..i think thats soo cool because i love brown its like my fav color. I think im going to start that trend lol

oh also the shirts that are like red and stuff i thought that in aqha you have to earn to wear a red shirt..like its a BIG deal if anybody wears one.

anyways the whole piping thing-- i like..my friends shirt which i really like had a monogram and piping and well im gonna try and draw a pic because i really liked it..also anybody know where i could find one??

ok dont laugh at the pic but its a white shirt with piping on the collar and a monogram..yeah yeah my initials spell 'MEN' verry funny lol.

Brown feild boots... brown helmets... ewww sorry but it sounds ugly. I don't think that will ever catch... Black boots and helmets is here to stay I am pretty sure buit I could be wrong. Its one trend I would never buy into though

I much prefer the look of a black jacket with a white shirt under. I tend to use white saddle pads/numnahs as well, so it looks better.

I love my show shirt though, it's a dublin one. Where you see it when I'm riding, when it's under a jacket, you can only see white, but when I take my jacket it off it's got cooler cotton around and panels in the back.

I like the colored shirts alot better then the white ones. I personally just wear dickies lol "the bib". Its way cooler in the hotter weather and if you get the cuffs it looks just like your wearing a long sleeved shirt.
