english saddles

Getting my own horse so I suppose it's time for me to get my own saddle as well. I'm going to be jumping and hopefully eventing, but will also be riding diffrent horses, and I dont really know what to get. I've looked at saddles w/ the easy change gullet sysetem but I've had people tell me that they hate them. Also I've been looking at the new Courbette saddles w/ the flex tree, and I have heard good and bad about those ones. Anyone have any input one wich one is better? I have no idea what to get now.

I would talk to your trainer (if you have one). If you'll be riding different horses, the owner or trainer or whatever would probally have the best imput.

I have an changeable gullet saddle (Wintec) and I like it for the most part. However, the gullet is not something you can change in under 30 seconds...so it's not like you'd have time to change inbetween classes most likely...and then, it's such a pain in the rear, you wouldn't want to. Let me tell you, getting the extra wide in after having the medium in was the biggest workout. BOP and I were both pulling on the saddle trying to get it in.
