English Saddle fit ?

I think my english saddle fits autumn. It doesnt seem to bother her at all. But Ive been looking at other peoples picture and it seems that the pommel part is almost on the horses withers.. You can put 4 fingers in between autumns. Does this mean its too small or what?

You should be able to fit 3 fingers in with no one on (with it girthed). With someone on, you want at least 2 fingers clearance, but it should stay at 3. It could be that the saddle is too narrow.

Is there any other way i cant tell if it is too narrow ? I could fit fingers between her shoulder and the saddle, almost to my hand. I dont have anyone around that could help me to tell. Thanks for the help

Can you get a picture of it? I really don't know how to tell you how to tell. Usually the pommel will sit too high and the cantle too low, but not always.

That'll be good. Try to get some from the side, the front, and the back.
