When I first started riding I wore tennis shoes, a pair of jeans, and a tee-shirt. I dont think it matters what you wear for just lessons or trails. Now I got rid of the tennis shoes but everything else stayed. lol.

Reaper - yeah, I have been guilty of the tennis-shoe experience a few times myself! LOL
Cowgirl - the saddle is going with! She told me to bring it and she would help me pad correctly for my horse because he's really high-withered and tends to get sore rather easily. Yay! The virgin voyage! LOL Ok... that sounded bad somehow but I was thinking of a ship...

I always took my lessons in jeans and boots with heels, that and a helmet was all my trainer required.
