Endurance Horse CLONED!

I have very mixed feelings on this... I just came across it while scanning the web. In a way, I'm okay with it. I mean, they only plan on using this horse for breeding because the other horse was gelded... but, maybe he was gelded for a reason? I don't know, its weird. I think they should leave nature alone...

What are your thoughts?

i don't know, i believe everything happens for a reason. so you could say "maybe this horse was gelded for a reason", but maybe also he was "supposed" to be cloned, and this cloning happened for a reason? okay that didn't make the kinda sense i hoped it would, but i think u'll get the point. It seems like "just leaving nature alone" is a good thing, and maybe it is... but as humans we counteract nature in almost evertying we do, is cloning really all that much more "unnatural" than heart and lunge transplants? blood transfusions? etc? (don't flame me).
cloning could get really scary if used for the wrong purposes, but heck, i would LOVE to clone my horse so i could breed him

It creeps me out but i don't think it's cruel or anything. It's just scary!
