End of confusion.

Hey yall. Here are the pictures ant instructions for the rythym collector. I hope I didnt confuse anyone earlyer so by request im posting step by step direction! Modeled by Aprilsbarkipper:

Use a easy plain snaffle bit.

Divide it in half over her pole.
Run each side threw the bit.
Criss cross under legs.
Tie each end together at the top.
Here it is being used to help her bend at the pole.
This is after i lunged her w/ the rythym collector for 10 min. I personally think she looks great. How about yall?

I think they work fine if not used for long periods. If left on for to long the horse will learn to escape the pressure by going behind the vertical which not what you want.

What does she normally look like? Unless she was really bad before, I do not see anything special about how she is moving in the last photo

It helps with tracking up by geting the shoulders moving

With the way this 'device' is made, it will do several things when the horse puts their nose too far forward. It will engage gag pressure (which will either f/reak the horse out or cause them to either raise or lower their heads (depending on the horse)), it will put pressure behind their elbows (imo serves no purpose), and it will block forward movement with the bit (which could cause the horse to merely lean against the bit. I don't see how any of these things could possibly end up curing any issues. None of it would cause the horse to move better. It might encourage the horse to evade pressure (not a good thing) by holding their head in a 'set' (again not a good thing).

How would it affect the shoulders? The only way to engage the shoulders is to first engage the hindquarters. I don't see how this would serve to engage the hindquarters at all. If anything, it could disengage the hindquarters.

It will not cure any issues . All that it will do is to get the horse tracking up as you see in pic 4 as compared to 3.
