Question Emergency Kit

What do u guys think should always be in an emergency kit for horses. No way..i said that wrong. Which THINGS should always be in there? I'm going somewhere this weekend with my horse and I just have this weird feeling to take my emergency kit. It's not a bad feeling...but just making sure what to take! Any ideas?

Okay, well I've got a pretty long list here...so I'll try to include everything I can remember, lol.

-leg wraps
-gauze
-Coflex wrap
-a couple hand towels
-a few of those cold packs you crack
-thermometor
-vaseline
-duct tape (I read about using this for a foot wrap somewhere)
-scissors
-a small flashlight
-tweezers
-pliers
-a cooler and thin blanket
-iodine
-fly/insect repellent
-ointment
-epsom salts
-hoof picks

I know there is more but I have no idea what it is. lol

Hope I helped a little though!

In addition to what Cajun said a stethoscope also comes in handy.

I usually like to have a couple of feminine pads in my kit also they are great for soaking up blood on the legs for s***** etc. Just open them up and vet wrap them in place. I know it sounds odd but it works.
