Elie Weisel's "Night"

Just finished reading it. Fantastic book, what a survivor.
Anyone else read it? What did you think?
I really thought it was fabulous and very detailed about the goings on in the Auschwitz concentration camp.

I've read it. It's a great book but not necessarily a great read. It got me really depressed actually, especially since my boyfriend's grandfather was in a concentration camp.

I agree with you, It got me quite upset, but it was just so enlightening.
My old neighbour was actually at Auschwitz so I now have a deeper understanding of the horrors that went on.

the diary of anne frank is a good book too. the holocasut was one of the saddening things that happened in history. I did a couple of investigations and essays on it last year but I was doing the buchenwald, teblinka and auchwitz #2 camp

I'll have to put my hubby on the computer long enough to talk about this. He read this book in college and loved it and LOVES to talk about it...
