Huh??

A canvas rug will weigh a TON when it gets wet. Those are terrible for winter. You should get him something that doesn't soak up the water.

I have no clue what that post said, lol. Please translate for us poor americans (and canadians).

If he's out in the rain in a rug that's not waterproof, that's bad. Our canvas rugs are waterproof though?

Is it waterproof?

I'm still confused. Are you afraid he's going to get wet? Or cold?

Well, I'm a little confused too.... but deffinetly get him something to keep him dry if you are conserned! I always want a shelter for my horses to go so they can keep dry. Are you saying you're thinking about a blanket?

Uh, yeah? If it's really cold out, he'll need something heavily insulated and water proof. Not just canvas.
