Effect of appy patterns on the base color

Mutrok, interesting - his foal color made me think black. The "eye" picture makes me think smoky black. The other 2 don't make me think "not smoky black". While I can see how someone might think he's liver, the shading on his front legs makes me not think that. I can't wait to see what his results are!

Smokey black most likely, black second.
