that everyone has their own opinions and everyone should respect others.
Theres alot of show horses that have alot done to them to perfect them. But thats the owners decisons.

BUt if i cant find anything and it comes down to putting harmful human dye on him..them no i will not do it.

but like ive said before...i know people that dye their entire horse in human dye and have no problem. Scares shouldnt really make a difference.

It's just one of thoes things where..it gets on ya nerves! haha

oh and mom...i care what she thinks. And she just really wanted to try it and see what happends.
Appearance isn't everything and you have nothing to prove to anyone, your horse is just a gorgeous, if not more If someone is going to judge you off your horse having some little scars and white hairs, then are they really worth your time?

There's not reason to give the natural ones a shot, no. But it just seems your doing it for apperance purposes, and because there are other pretty horses in the barn and you have to look just as good.

Like I said, more important things to worry about in life and more important things to spend your money on.

I'm not trying to be rude at all, just letting you know that there is more than apperance in life and that a few white hairs don't mean much. Your horse just wants your lovin

In the end, it's your opinion though.

but i wasnt starting this thread to get people to come down on me for a decision and for people to think its stupid. im NOT dying my entire horse, or bleaching him..or changing his color. aAot of people dye to enhance whats there.

jumpsxglory..you know i adore my boy, but i was just asking if anyone knew of a safe dye to use or somthing that would last longer than just the spray?..because like i said. I have used the spray..and i dont think your supposed to use it all the time.

i really didnt want anyone telling me that its ridiculous..if i was just asking.

thats all i'll say (:

Jumps, it all depends on the type of show and the level.

Jumping shows, anything goes. You could own the most butt ugly horse and it doesn't matter. What matters a hoot if it can get round a course clear.

Hunters, a combination of pretty and ability.

Pony club, you could ride ol' scarface and still win.

Hacks, they are the pretties of the pretties. You can lose a class on the lack of a false tail or a spot of white on a black. An off centre star.

It depends entirely on what level we are showing at for the preparation. A big show which for us is probably about your State fairs is big time work and the horse must be perfect or you are wasting your time and money loading him up. Showing is time and money consuming and I see no point spending it unless you are the playing the same game as everyone else.

no..its really not that big of a deal. I was just asking about adivce on "safe dyes to use" or natural dyes..or even something i can apply that would last longer than a day ..thats all. no need to put up pictures so everyone can see..and just get more started

I wasn't coming down on you mustang, you know I wouldn't do that And I know you adore your boy very much, he's lucky to have you as his mom I apologize if it came off that way, I was mearly stating a different view and that they're just white hairs. You said your barn has many pretty horses, and that you have to live up to that also. I just wanted you to understand that you do not have to conform for those reason, expecially over some white hairs.

If you want to use it and give it a try, by all means go right ahead. I was just stating that I wouldn't and that you don't have to go off what others may think or say just because you board at a barn that has stunning horses, besides your boy lol

I know there are different things for different levels and diciplines... In any of those I wouldn't add a fake tail to win, make up to make my horse star more even, or anything alone that line but that's just me.

Also, just out of curiosity... Are you doing this for a show or just to clear it up?
