btw...no pedigree info on this guy. He's branded with the below brand and at some point in time resided with Horse Breakers Unlimited. We never bothered to call and ask for information on him.

I'd be inclined to think dunalino. I'm only starting to learn about the advanced color/patterns though, so I wouldn't take my opinion for much.

If you just took his dorsal stripe (or counter shading, if he truly is pali) out of the picture, I would say palomino with just a touch of sooty, but that dorsal stripe/counter shading is rather convincing. I wish I could see a picture of him from the back.

The John and Marywade always have nice horses up there. I think quite a few end up selling for higher than what they should just because they came from one of their sales, but our old farrier did (may still do) their horses, so their hoof care was always wonderful!

LOL, this one is a stumper. I could easily say just smutty, but then again I could see dun. I'd love to get actual "eye's on" on this one before saying either way.
