Dun mare

HOLY DOODLES! I feel stupid. This poor mare STILL hasn't had her foal! She grunts with every step if she's made to move faster than a snail's pace. Her belly is no longer round on the sides, it's all underneath her now. Her udder is, well, an actual udder compared to the last time I posted photos, ha ha. At that time I truly believed she couldn't get any bigger. Was I ever wrong! Her teats have developed a covering of white speckles on them, before there were very few now and then, but today they are covered. But from what I've read that means still not time yet???

Eating, drinking and going to the bathroom just fine. Spends more time lying in the sun nowadays but still wanders the six acres to nibble on the finally growing grass, rather than her hay, a bit slower coming up the hills. No surprise, ha ha.

Sorry, no updated pics...forgot my camera cord at my Mom's house. I am just hoping she doesn't have the foal until I get it back!
