Duchess of Hancock (Suri)- my little red roan

Here are some updated pictures of Suri. She looks kind of rough, I just started really messing with her about a week ago because I thought her first show was about three weeks away. Found out yesterday that my brother had the dates confused and her first show is going to be Saturday. She won't be ready, but she's going anyway. She is losing hair like crazy, but she still has a boat load more to lose. It wasn't ever really my intention to take her into a halter class, but with Chaps gone I figure I need something to do and even if she doesn't win the experience will be good for her. But honestly, she doesn't look too bad ...does she?

I really like her coloring, it's pretty.

Good luck at the show, and I'm glad that you aren't expecting a blue ribbon the first time out.. I often see people at horse shows who end up dissapointed.

Heck no, I never get disappointed. Especially at these local Saturday night shows where it all boils down to politics and popularity more times than not. I have gotten the gate before with horses that conformationally speaking were far superior to the other horses in the class all because the judge that particular night had never gotten along with my dad. Or because, my dad, who also gets called to judge from time to time didn't use their horse the way they thought it should have been. You can't take it personal and there is no point in getting disappointed because in the end it is all a matter of opinion.....

I do think it is a shame, but it is all just for fun.

I have a filly that looks a lot like yours. I have a photo that's almost the same as the one where she's walking with her tail swishing. It's on my computer at home but here are some I do have of her:
Her name is Haidas Little Hanna
