Dressage Show!!!

Hi,

I went to a real dressage show this Sunday, and my and my horse Liebe kicked some really nice riders BUTTS!! We rode in a class of about 19 people and there were really nice horses like $25,000 ones, and me and my 21 year old mare toke second place!! We rode in training level test 2 and test four, the only things we need to work on is getting all the circles and corners to be perfect. We got on the test 2 a 59.39% or something close to that, and on the test 4 we got a 58.something% I thought the test 4 was the best, but the judge didn't like it cause at one point on a circle i wasn't round and the gaits regularity was lost + my free walk was more of a crunch than a stretch. Also keep in mind that I've only had Liebestraum (liebe) for not even 2 months now, and we've only been to 2 other shows, and they were 4-h shows, I so don't fit in at those shows all the judges like the westren pleasure horses in an English saddle, but I'm a dressage rider, so I never do so well in their eyes. I can't wait till fair too, I've been doing some jumping, and I think I'm gonna do an 18" hunter hack cross-rail class, she's a Hanoverian so she's a born jumper, but she hasn't done too much jumping, also I have a ride-a-test this weekend and I'm doing Training level test 2 and a hunter hack class 18" I let you know how it goes. Well I kinda want to know what you think on the hole matter please tell me.

Wow! lol, congrats on the big win! =D i've always wanted to try Dressage but don't have the horse to do it with! haha

Those are great scores.. Its always how the RIDER appears to the job and how well they can ride the test.

Sometimes people get so caught up on the other competition that they don't concentrate on their test alone!
