Ok soo i was wondering today..... (I dont ride western or anything I was simply thinking about it .)

If you are at a show and right while you are in the judging ring your horse Poops. Does that take off points?

Dont ask me Why i am Asking becasue i Really dont know.. the question just came to me...

Happens all the time. The key here is that some horses actually STOP to poo and if they are in the middle of a movement then yes you would be penalized.

I have a students horse that does that and it is annoying when I teach that the horse is allowed to stop.

If you have trained your horse to .....errr poo on the fly...LOL then you are ok. I have never marked down anyone where this has happened as long as the movement to be performed is not compromised.

I don't understand how my post was taken in a rude way so to those I have offended I am sorry.

My apologies.

I have no idea how your post could've offended someone

It was a very good answer to the question!

When they gotta go, they gotta go But I agree with DL, so long as you keep the horse forward and don't allow him to stop, or slow down, then it shouldn't matter.

Astro is good like that, but the few times Rio has been out, he ALWAYS does it! I just keep him forward, and i've never had bad comments or feedback about it...just as well, because there should be no penalties against nature

I'm willing to bet it has something to do with a red mark...

Anyway, what more could I add? Nice, DL.
