His sire is pretty well known for producing hunter babies is he not?

Nice looking boy, but the way his neck ties into his withers isn't my cup of tea. I'd want to see more offspring.

That's cool how the video is set to the theme from The Italian Job

I think he's gorgeous- I actually kind of like his neck for dressage. And it wouldn't be so cresty in his offspring if they weren't kept stallions I would think.

He's a Holsteiner, who are primarily bred for jumpers, secondarily for Dressage, with Hunters being an "oh, he happens to be suitable for that too, nice). This means that he's going to have a pretty high neckset. The fact that he's competing at GP dressage means he's built much more upright than a Hunter would be - a very nice Hunter would have a harder time getting to GP dressage because they aren't built that way.

It's neither good nor bad in the general view, just good or bad for what you want a particular horse to do *I* probably would not look at this stallion to produce a Hunter prospect, unless I see that he typically throws a more hunter neck tie-in, or that the neck tie-in is pretty much left to the mare and I have a hunter-y mare.

I will say I never heard of any of his offspring for dressage, so he has to be jumping lines

I do love his face markings!

Here is a video I found of him.
