Dressage names (:

im trying to come up with a list of names that would sound good for a dark bay thoroughbred gelding doing dressage.

i was looking for a name that would fit into the dressage aspect, somthing that would grab your attention.

i like names that include royal or prince.

give me all ya got !

I have always loved the elegant dance terms, especially for a dressage horse.

Pirouette
Calypso
Adagio
Allegro
Arabesque
Pas de Deux (a dance for two)

oops...completely didnt read the 2nd part to that involving the "royal" or "prince" part

We have a palomino TB stallion on the farm named Princecharming...we have 2 babies(1/2 brother and sister) by him whom I call Luke and Leia

Adding the 'human' names to the end of Prince is always classic...Prince Edward, Prince Andrew, we have a pony named Sir Charles, and Sir Galahad is another stallion that I used to adore..lol...

Crown Royal is a BEAUTIFUL morgan colt bred by MEMC Morgans...I have always loved that name

For dressage, I really like one word names myself. Look on a names database (I generally look on multicultural baby names databases online.......there are SO many options on there it's not even funny. And so many different websites. You can find names in different languages even that might mean prince or royal, it will sound even better as people will ask you what the horse's name means!) Happy hunting!

That's a good idea. I did this for most of my chinchillas.

Here's a list of neat russian names, I have a better one somewhere.. let me see if I can find it..
