Don't open any emails with subject "Hey" from your own email or someone you know!!!

I just got an email that said "hey" in the subject line and had myself in the from and now my contacts are ALL GONE!

And then I checked my other 3 email accounts (yahoo too) and they had emails from people I knew in the from line and "Hey" in the subject line so I deleted...same thing I am sure of it because nobody emails me like that.

Therefore, do not open any email you get form someone you know saying "Hey" it could be the same scam/virus!!

I hate computer hackers and virus senders.

too late for me! I opened one (from YOU actually!!!) but since i don't really have any contacts, I don't care too much...but i'll pass it along

funny thing was, it was in my inbox, not my spam box...and since it was from you, i opened it...oops! LOL

I'm sorry.

I am trying to get the word as much as I can. I have been going in my sent items to find people's emails and sending a warning from my other account but I had hundreds of contacts in that account. Man this sucks.
I did the same thing so that is how I got it, opened it because it came from somoeone I knew and didn't think anything of it. Gosh darn virus people!!! Don't they have anything better to do with thier time like better the world instead of mess it up more!! Ugh!

My Mom said it was on the news and her work has got lots of emails from random people with the "Hey" in the subject line.
I guess I should watch the news more often.

Yes exactly!! They come from an address you know and the subject just says Hey.
