The new thing that ticks me off are these "designer breeds", i.e. yorkiepoos or peekehuns. A neighbor of mine bought a pekingese dachshund mix for $200. I was shocked. You can get the same thing at them human society for less than that, including vaccinations and a checkup. But people breed to make money and things that are cute, not for the improvement of the breed.
I would NEVER breed Bear. She's a very sweet girl, but she has no attributes that really need to be passed on. Besides, what would I breed a chow/lab/border collie to anyhow?

I know he's been evaluated by one lady, and she liked him ALL but his "bulk".

He is "slender" type, not broad. So he wouldn't hack it in a show. But he's a pulling fiend in the winter! LOL
The only thing that I can tell you is that it used to be red for champion dogs on a pedigree and they always had the little CH before their name. I don't even know if the guidelines have changed as to what makes up getting a championship on a dog.
Show dogs tend to be a little bulkier, especially in huskies. A working line for sledding would have a more slender build. Kind like the difference between an endurance runner and sprinter. I would love to call her now, but she would answer the phone like what is wrong, are you okay. So I will call her tomorrow. Do you have pics of him I would like to see him. I will go check your photos, I think I remember in a thread seeing pics of him.

UGHH, have you seen those St. Berdoodles?! They are disgusting! I am very tempted to send the breeder a not so nice e-mail.
