Does your horse know their name?

Yep all 3 do!

When I want to go for a ride all I have to do is get Teak's halter, stand at the gate and call his name. He comes right to me. If I call his name when he's eating he'll even come over to see what's up.

Both my mares when I call their names will look over at me... if I have a treat they will come, but otherwise they'll usually go back to what they're doing... (and then Teak will come over to get the attention

)

Yep! Buddy sure does, I holler out "Buddy Boy!" When I go to get him and he perks his head right up! Haha... and then right there I can tell how he's gonna be to ride, cuz he'll either come to meet me with an eager look on his face, or he'll look at me, then get a bothered look and walk off... the brat. But as soon as I walk up to him he stops and is like "Oh! Hi there!"

Silly horse!

All mine know their names. Lucky sometimes pretends he doesn't though....

both danna and magnum do. you call danna she raises her head and mahnum continues what he was doing. u can magnum, he raises his head danna continues what she was doing. lol....no training involved

One of my horses does and I think its because we've had her her whole life. If you go out there and say Zoey she comes running.

Lol, I think by now, Jazzie responds to all the names of the horses in the pasture LOL! Everyone tells me how they were trying to catch one of the other horses and they were running, so they were tempted to just catch Jazzie instead, because she was there LMAO! But she responds most to "Jazzie Girl!" because thats what I usually call her.

I have had my horse since april and he definetly comes when called, oh and i changed his name

Feliche and Andre know theirs! I think it must because Feliche is 3 syllables and Andre is one. Also I do this stupid voice when I call Andre cause he's a sweety pie dor.k and I talk to him like it =P

yup. he also knows all his nicknames and his show name. He knows his regd name but doesnt like being called by it since it usually means hes in trouble lol
