Does she look better?!!! Pics, videos and a question!!

Well it has been 3 weeks since Markie got her shoes and a little longer than 3 weeks since Markie came in from the field. It was Markie's first time cantering under saddle in like 4 months so she was QUITE excited, haha. I have great video of that!!! So I won't give you guys my extra long speeches like I usually do but here is the jist. Markie is still sound with no problems there, true test is still when we go outside on the hard ground but so far so good. Markie's back legs are nearly down to normal size (after 2 months of being fat) but now she has a SLIGHTLY swollen hock, this does not cause her any lameness or discomfort. Markie is finally gaining weight and lossing her winter coat!!

So I have some before and after pics (before pics and of when she FIRSt came back to the barn or just before and after pics are from today) Tell me what ya think!!! I also have video of her 'cantering' and one of her trotting, tell me what you think of her in those too (not me though b/c I know I look like ****, I am very much out of practice)

Before pics!!!

Her ribs

Her fat back legs!!

Some confo shots

Now for AFTER PICS!!!

Her ribs (getting better!!!)

Her legs (almost normal)

other leg

Sorry she has her head so high, she was VERY aware of things, haha.

If you want to see more pics of Markie (including her crazy polos and gorgeous outdoor shots) plz go to my album
My Album

Now for the videos!!!!

Markie Trotting

Markie's first canter!! A little interesting

Markie's bolt!!!! Haha, this rocks!!

Markie being pretty and civilized at the canter

So my question is once her fat legs look completely normal should I still sweat bandage them for a day or 2 to insure that all signs of it are gone or is that bad for her?

A note: Do not worry about how mayn times we cantered around, I did exactly as the vet said.

So ya you can comment now!

She looks very smooth on the trot and like your riding a rocking horse on her first canter. The bolt looked like she was ready to be a race horse.LOL It looks like she is healing up rather nicely!!
