Does anyone know of any GOOD horse trainers in East Central Kansas?

At the ripe old age of 51, I'm giving up training horses. The bones don't heal as quick as they used to, plus I don't really have the time now.

At this time, I have 3 fillies that are needing started. One is already 3 and the other two are just a little over 2 years old. The two 2 yr olds can really wait another year, but I need to find someone not too terribly far away that can train the 3 year old for me. I live about 10 minutes outside of Kansas City.

Does anyone know of any good trainers fairly close to me?

I know a guy who is 19 and he's around south central nebraska (can't remember the town)....he starts horses. We're sending our QH mare there to put some time on her. He's really sweet and quiet around them. If you were interested in at least chatting with him, I can get a phone number for you.

Is he any good? That's really a little farther than what I'd like to send her, but if he's good, it would be worth it.

You can pm me his name and phone number if you want. It won't hurt to talk to him.

What type of training are you wanting? You are in my home area and I know a few good ones. Reining, WP, cutting, barrels, and roping. PM me and I can give you some name and numbers and prices.

I just want someone to get her riding. No disciplines. Simple trail riding is all. When I place her in a home, if the new owner wants to advance her to something like that, then they can. Will the people you know do that?

If you're interested in Illinois, and can wait until Mid summer early fall, I'll be taking in a couple.
My father and I are considering taking in another members horse.
PM me if you are interested. We have WONDERFUL facilities and will work the horse for as long as needed, regardless of time. You will pay for 30 days of RIDING and if it takes longer, no cost to you.

Who do you know in Coffeyville thats a good trainer besides Raymon White? He's too high 700 per 30 and his daughter Pam just started out does an okay job but shes getting high and not producing money earners!Okay I can think of 2 David Karr is good but I don't know how many outside horses hes doing! Mike White is cool and his daughter is training but the drink alot and ride. It's not professional to train drunk or even after drinking the 2 dont mix. Other than that theres no one else in that area I trust. I got many redos of problemed horses from that area. It's a small area everyone knows everyone.

I know a few real good ones that start colts that are good and reasonable. PM me and I will give you some contacts. I really really really like Bob Johnson out of Ada OK he is awesome has been doing it for years. An older guy a lil slower meaning he takes his time with them, hes totally correct, doesn't cram em and for what he is hes very reasonable 550 per 30 but the thing is hes always so full you may have to wait for a spot to get in. My friend lucked out and only waited 1 week and we hauled his Dual Pep colt 4 hours over to Bob but hes cuttin training that colt. He trains cutting, roping and working cow horses for World Shows and produces money earners. Great guy temperment and knowledge wise. I can't believe hes still only charging 550 a month. Totally a deal! He just loves what he does and horses!

I'm interested in knowing this as well. My Johnny won't be ready for at least another year or two but it's nice to hear of some good possibilities. We don't have many really good ones around here.
