Does anyone have a Circuit saddle? I have a question!

Well, I need a new saddle for my boy, but he is EXTREMELY wide (my extra-wide dressage saddle was too narrow!) and needs a saddle that is flatter on the bottom. I really like the look of the Circuit saddles (by Dover), and would like to try one on him, but I wanted to ask if there was any chance it would fit first.

So, if you have a Circuit saddle - how wide is it? Especially if you have a Wide, how wide is it? Also, are the panels on the underside of the saddle flat or rather curved?

Thanks in advance!

I have the circuit elite. I have to say that I do not think it is one of the widest saddles out there. I have a 16.5 with a wide tree, and it has pinched a couple of horses. Whereas, my friend's Pessoa has never had an issue fitting a horse, nor has my friend's super old collegiate.

It sounds like your horse is pretty wide, and the Circuit saddles run more narrow (even the wide tree).

Yep! I rescind my earlier comment. I just got back from the barn from meeting the chiropractor, and after noticing that all the horses were sore at the withers she asked to see how all our saddles fit. Mine was the worst! It pinched horribly. In fact I am going to clean it and put it up for sale once we get back from our show. It is a comfy saddle to ride in for the rider, but on wide backed horses like the morgans, it is not a good choice.

A circuit saddle is not wide enough for a wide horse.

I got a HDR and that was wide enough.

The saddle out of all of the ones the chiro looked at our barn, the one the had no problems was the older collegiate with the extra wide quarter horse tree.
