does anybody need help choosing a stallion

if you need any help choosing a stallion i can help. i have connections with a lot of stallion owners and am good at picking the right stallion for your needs. some good tips for choosing a stallion are:
1. choose a stallion that is strong in your mares weak areas
2. pick a stallion in the dicipline that you want
3. find out what color baby you are most likely to have
if anyone wants help feel free to e-mail me at lv82789@yahoo.com

Perhaps you should word it this way: Choose a stallions who is strong in areas of your mares weekness.

BTW- a stallion won't "Fix" a mares flaws- i.e.- a mare with poor confirmation bred to a stud with great confirmation won't necessarily throw a foal with great confirmation. Chances are better of course. You want to look for 2 horses that will compliment each other.

OK. I'll give it a go. I have a mare with all kinds of flaws! I love her anyway.

Lanky's Dandy Doll is my appendix QH mare. She is 15.2hh. She has a beautiful head and eye, great chest and butt and great personality. However, she is pigeon toed, long backed and has a short neck.

IF I were to breed her, I would be looking for not only great confo, but color. Either a homozygous Paint or Appaloosa or a double diluted Quarter Horse. A long neck and pretty head would have to be a must for me also.

Here are some Dolly pictures.

Lets see what you can find! (I have an Arab mare and a half Arab mare too!)

They are all very nice. If they have a AQHA parent, they aren't homozygous. But, they are still nice. None are 100% color producers though. My fav. out of all of them is SCRIBBLE ME DIXON. He has everything I would want, except for the 100% color thing. He is so nice that I might be willing to risk it on the color and be satisfied with a super breedingstock Paint.
Any diluted studs out there? (Palomino, buckskin, perlino, cremello)

OK. Here is my Arabian mare. She is cow hocked in the back and does not have the best hind end. It is a little weak, but she does not seem to mind. She also does not have the best Arab head. She is homozygous black and is 14.3 1/2hh. She is my true love. She has the best temperment and a GREAT neck. If I were to look for a stallion for her I would want one with a VERY nice head, big eyes, small ears, taller, with a bigger hind end. Color does not matter for her and non Arabians are ok too.

i think for your first horse you would do really good with scribble me dixon because even if you dont get a color horse you would have a very awesome pleasure horse. for your second mare we have a 2 stallions at the barn i work at that would really look good with your arabian mare. they both have big butts, nice legs, and beutiful faces. they both also produce babies that are good for western pleasure and have sweet temperments.
