At this time in her life, 14 vs 20 is a HUGE age gap. If you're 30... it's not too bad to date someone who's 36. But she's still a kid. Goodness... she's the same age as my little brother. And a 20 year old? That's two years older than my older brother.

Not only will they have little in common, maturity-wise (and physically), they most likely have even less. It's also just not a very wise choice for a younger teen to date an older guy. I'm not saying that necessarily something will happen, but... think of it logically. What is usually on a 20 year old guy's mind when it comes to being with girls? Do you really want that kind of guy going out with your friend, who's 14, most likely very innocent and impressionable (innocent in that she has little experience with guys)?

I dunno... that's just my two cents.

I'm 17, and I wouldn't date anyone over 21...

When I was 14, I don't think I would've considered anyone past 16. He should stick to chicks his own age.

There is NO need for someone that old to be messing with a young girl. Do her parents know?
