I really hope things get better in this situation for you !!!
i think i will take your advice and just step back and let things run there course thanks everyone for your helpful advice, much appreciated

I've seen this happen before if your friend is going to choice a boy over you then she's diff. not your friend. Thats very disturbing that a 14 year old is going out with a 20 year old. Rumors will start and she will have a bad reputation and if you hang out with her it will tag along with you. I had a friend that it happened to her, her friend was a hum..."riskay" when it came to relationships and even though my friend was not the reputation was tagged onto her. Just be careful and let it play out, remember though, always be their for her if she needs it.

wow... well a lot has already been said previously that i can agree with.
But i can only add - if he really loved her he should allow her time .. time to grow more and experience he should also wait cause then it would be more appropriate, even looking at the age gap. It would more appropriate when she is older and the gap can still be the same. If he can't do that then that can't be healthy.. :\

i agree with hoosier jumper's advice

Does your friend actually say she "loves" him ?
she could be getting mixed up with infatuation

Why don't you get your parents to call hers expressing their concern for her boyfriend? Her parents may take that a bit more seriously. I definitely wouldn't let the situation play out on its own though.

If I were you, I wouldn't stop until I knew that guy was out of her life. I love my best friends, and I would never let them keep themselves in a potentially harmful situation like that.
