I'm sorry but that is wrong. Her parents need to be told, I'm sure they wouldn't approve!

If she won't listen to you, let her parents know.

Honestly, that is ILLEGAL, and just plain wrong. There is no way a 20 year old has good intentions with a 14 year old.. Heck, I don't even know if that boy (man?) is compeletly sane. That is just creepy thinking about how he could be attracted to a 14 year old.. That would be like me going out with a ten year old! Sheesh.

I personally think that is a little bit of a stretch. I am a senior and i have a friend who is 17 and she is going out with a 22 year old but in this situation it is her best friend's brother. But she is 17 not 14. And i don't even think that is legal because she's is a "minor"... IMO this could become a bad situation. I agree with everyone on this post so far. As you get older (over 18) that whole age difference tends to become irrelevant however at your friends age it still is a bit much to date someone 6 years older espeically in these critical years

Ok, that right there would scare me..
Anyway i also agree with everyone. This is a bad situation.. As someone else also said i beleive, theres alot of difference there, in maturity both physically and mentally.. I would be extremely scared for her..
I wont even look at guys out of my "age" group...
Did you call her parents like staited?

Definitely talk to her! Tell her that you're worried and only care about her and her safety and happiness. Tell her it's illegal. Ask her what she would do if you were in her situation. My last step would be to talk to her parents (but I would definitely do it if you feel the need!), as I know how kids like to rebel against parents - especially if their friends are siding with parents, it just makes it harder for them to see what's right in front of them sometimes. Try to reason with her, this is just a bad situation that's only going to get worse.
