Nope... from what I read horses and rats both don't have gall bladders

Nope, which is why when you introduce any Fat based item to feed, you must do it slow so the liver can adjust. because the first few times you feed it, it does not get fully digested. And takes nutrients with it in the process.

6 weeks is the "regimine" time I was taught to introduce any fat substance to work up to the amount you wish to feed and the body to adjust as you go.

thank you, BW, for your specific info. i have become quite weary over the years of trying to explain this circumstance/condition only to be told i am talking out of my butt because no-one else has ever heard of the idea. this is exactly why i am not an oil fan, generally.
