    How do YOU tie your horses ear bonnet?

    Is it me or is it a weird tie that comes on a ear bonnet? how do you tie your horses ear bonnet? i did my like a slip know but it still hangs and the poor boy doesnt have big ears so he looks kind of goofy anyway but just wanted some opinions on how others do it to make sure it stays when i go to my event this weekend
    Swoop- 16.1h TB jumper/dressage horse
    Petey- 16.3h TB eventer
    Look like a SUPERSTAR, Ride like a FOUR STAR, Win like a ROCKSTAR

    You can wrap the string around the throatlatch and then tie it at the end. My mare looks so silly in a bonnet too

    ^ That's how I do mine...or I cut the tie off and either hope my bridle will hold it on, or loop a small piece of velcro through the poll area and attach around the bridle. Can't even see the velcro from the ground, and works great.

    those are good ideas i'll have to post pics of Petey in his its Ice Pink and has silver on it. its very pretty but he does look quite goofy lol i think they should make diff size ones for diff ears, not all horses have mule ears! lol

    I do exactly the above
    Next time you say riding isn't a sport - I'll let you send my horse towards a solid obstacle that is more than half my height.
