Well, w/ that pic I can't really critique anything. It's at a bad angle. He's a cutie though..and looks gentle. I think you should get him.

I said yes despite the bad angle pic and the cribbing. He looks sweet and he is babysitting yearlings so must be somewhat gentle...

What more training does he need? It doesn't sound like he will be able to do much more then walk on the trail? And do you have other horses to keep him company?

I think if you can provide him the kind of home he needs it would be a great thing...but just make sure you really want a horse that is a LIGHT trail only boy.....

I talked to the woman who has put him up for adoption and he is able to do more than walk on the trail but she hasn't had time to work with him on it yet.. so i just have to talk to a couple of people and the vet and he should be coming home with us... she also said that though he does fit in with other horses he likes to be by himself alot so a companion wouldn't be necassary... and since he is only eight she says he has alot of potential... if we do adopt him it will be after we get back from vacation in june so that we have time to fix up his area

Is he sound for more work then? If so with more training, I'd say go for it!

ok im confusrd :S sorry! ok firstly hes a compainion horse but likes to be on his own? only subtible for light hacking, yet he can do more :S lol sorry it just all seems a bit fishy to me.

like the others said its hard to critique from that angle, but he does seem laid back and has a nice eye.

if you have the time money and experience id say go for it

just make sure that the cribbing doesnt affect him in ay other way, also see if hes prone to colic its always best to check!

oh and btw good on your for adopting horses, i always like to see people given underprivillaged horses a new happy life

Go for it! Cribbing can be fixed...Cute too! And the fact he is with yearlings makes it sound like he is sweet!
