But were I of age, and at a track, sure, I'd probably bet a bit. I wouldn't go there to gamble or anything, but if I found myself there I would bet.

well i own two ex race horses so i know that some racehorses are not treated kindly. one of my horses is headshy and the other is petrified of whips.
so i dont like the actual trainers or whoever is cruel to the animals, but i do think that horses running at full speed is a beautiful thing. although i would prefer it if they werent forced to do it.
so im kind of undecided and no i would not bet on a race

BUT I do pick the horses from the paper and having worked in the backstretch at one time I know some things to look for.

I'm currantly getting my butt into gear and getting back into harness racing by getting my license again.

Loved driving the harness racers, not too thrilled on the TB's though.

I went to see the Derby one year and yes, I betted on the Derby(only), well, my mom better for me LOL

But for the other races I picked who I thought might win...And I was pretty good LOL
