Do you know this saddle?

Does anyone know this saddle? Did you ride in any other adjustable or flexible western saddles?

I've never heard of it but a quick Google shows some info on it. The only review I read was favorable except for a few minor things they didn't like such as the quality of the silver. They liked the leather used though, but we don't know the qualifications of the reviewer to determine their experience. I'd like to see the underneath to actually see how it works. Unique idea but there are no long term reports on it or any suggestions as to what type of pad to use.

It can be had at quite a few on line stores which surprised me. Usually those one of a kind items can only be had through the maker.

I don't know how popular it is, but if it works like the description, it might be a good saddle.

I would wonder about the pivot points and what kind of pressure it would put there on the horse's back. As with anything, check with them and see if they have references of past customers and how long they have been using that type of tree. Any good saddlemaker will be happy to share this with you, be aware if they get evasive about things on the phone. A saddle is a big purchase and you don't want to get stuck with a boat anchor

This saddle looks like a knock off of the original Ortho Flex. And, from my experience with the adjustable flex panel system, I can't recommend it. We had nothing but trouble trying to fit two horses over two years with a Brazos model Ortho Flex. After numerous calls to the company, pictures, following their advice, we were unable to get the horses comfortable, let alone stop the hair rubbing off down to the skin that was occurring along either side of their withers.

The original designer of this system (who will remain nameless) even states that this system is too hard to fit most horses and now markets a blanket/pad that is supposed to make your saddle fit. Oh, the wonderful world of saddle fit and pads that will make your saddle fit if it doesn't.
