Do you keep this kind of list?

Okay, so most of us aren't rich- yet...

Do you keep a list of the horses you'll want to buy when/if you can ever afford to?

One of my very good friends is a breeder, and since I've met him I've always had a list of the pieces of his herd that I'll be running off with when I come into some money. Bwahahah.

Today he was informed that he has ~4 years left with a handful of horses before I come to pick 'em up, so he'd better enjoy them now.

Thankfully for me, they don't sell many... they're not really breeding anymore (two foals planned for next foaling season and a six-year gap between the last foals and these) and have no problem hanging onto the horses they've produced or invested in indefinitely...

So, do you?

I do! I can't get any more right now. I have to sell the one I have for sale right now. But next summer I want to get a sister to one of my geldings. Then after that there are two more siblings (brother and sister) that I'm going to get, after they are done racing. Those are the only ones that I'm going to get for sure, so far! Although, down the road, I'd like to breed one of the two mares to a really nice warmblood stallion for my future eventing horse.I keep telling myself that I'd better get a well paying job to pay for all the horses I'm going to have!

A Reflections Playboy baby is on my list

I also want a Grulla or a Buckskin Paint - I saw the exact one I'd want when I was horse shopping, but she was too far away for me!

Too bad I won't be horse shopping for a good 6 years at least!

I don't have a list of specific horses, but types of horses... a warmblood, a grulla, a champagne, a nice reiner...

And one day, I will have one of each, LOL. Not likely haha.
