There are good points to this method, like the time applied the "Half-tap" to one horse so the vet could administer some anti-biotics which was to help the horse fight an infection..which couldn't be done because the horse was climbing the walls after the vet missed on the first attempt to inject her..

I have used this method on many occassions mostly to help the horse..

There are many, traumatic devices that people attach to horses with locking systems people can't get off when the horse goes into a state of panic, my way is simple just turn the horse's head and wait a few moments, you can straighten the horse's head up anytime you want..this has nothing to do with cutting off the horse's oxygen supply either, they get just as sleepy with their heads in the normal straight position, it just a bit awkard to try and keep the bit pressing against their cheek til the endorphins kick in..I have tried all sorts of different ways and the site ones seem to be the easiest to do so far.. I'm still learning too...

The horse at the start got sold yesterday, wish him luck.....

wait, you got on a yearling? Horses shouldn't be ridden at least until 2-3, but only light work then. And I don't see why a complete stranger would let you on his unbroke horse, what about insurance if you fall and get hurt or die?

Hey guys, you gotta give the guy credit! But with what you just explained, why then do I need to spend $50 on your product? Or did you just hand out your secret to us?

I just handed it out to you all....I was trying to sell it but I change my mind I need people to say something positive about it first.

Maybe $20 is better ? any feed back would be nice...

Maybe I will try after word gets around a bit..

Thank you for understanding...

Thumbs up

Thanks for the info. I will think about it. I have some horses that are brood mares and one or two can be hard to handle. They are new to us and this sounds like something one would use to keep the horse from having a bad experience, thus making the horse even harder to work with.
I commend you for coming back to us and giving us the info in a professional way.
Hope to see more of you on here.

I think this could help a bit because some people have tried everything and have nowhere else to turn..

Just don't let the kids hold twitches.....they are timebombs

Thankyou for sharing your method with us....and welcome to the forum. If this method does work I think it would be useful in some of the situations you described above... I think people had such a negative reaction initially when it was presented as a "training method".... when one thinks of it like a twitch...something to be used to avoid a potentially dangerous scenario...and not relied on as a way to just get everything done... it makes as much sense as using a twitch.

Thank you for the explanation of your method. It was interesting if nothing else and very helpful for understanding. I have not quite decided if I would want to use it or not, but I will read your posts another time or two and definitely take a look at your website. Again, thank you for taking the time to post and answer questions.
