![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | In the first cross, the grulla is homozygous black, the dun is heterozygous black. Both are heterozygous dun. And, neither carry the cream gene. Does that answer your question?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks a bunch! But I did pretty much have everything right, yes? And, is that right with the rabicino--I could get any of those colors + rabicino?

| Senior Member+ | not sure how rabicino works..if it is recessive or not Jband will be on here in a bit.....she might know. Just if you get a bay, the horse MAY still be homozygous black. But has the Agouti gene nailing the black expression. You may get a Brown too....I'm still trying to figure out those genetics. I can't get a straight answer anywhere how "BROWN" is formed. It is Black with Agouti. May be homozygous black and agouti or double agouti? I gave up for a few days trying to figure it out as I get several different answers from sources. So don't count Brown out....

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks BW for all of your help! I'll have to ask JBandRio about the rabicino. Yeah, I'm not sure how brown is formed/works either. I don't usually write it out in my possibilities, but always have it in the back of my mind. Thanks again!
