Deworming Mini donkey?

I was just wondering if I would be able to use the same dewormer on a mini donkey as I do for the horses? It is once again time to do this and I the donkey is here now. She has not yet been done. Thanks much.
Feeling really stupid now...went and did a search and found great little site about donkeys and it answered my question..now I will go figure out her weight lol

We use STrongid C2X daily wormer on our mini donkey and then worm every three months with whatever paste we are rotating with. WE have never had any problems.

Yes you can use the same dewormer,but just use the smaller doses. It is highly recommended that you use an ivermenctin de-wormer at least once every 6 months to control lung worms because donkeys can be a carrier for lungworms and pass them on to horses if not dewormed regularly with ivermectin

That was not something I knew, thank you for adding that. I did go out and worm her along with everyone, she had just recently been weighed too, a few days ago so I knew how much I could give her. Suprisingly it was Ivermenctin that I used, guess we are okay there.
