Anyhow, I am thrilled beyond belief that King County Animal Control has filed all evidence and that the King County Prosecuting attorney has decided to charge her. This is a day that the horses in heaven (who had to be put down because they couldn't be saved after what they endured there) are dancing for. It is a day that makes it easier to see Sequoia and the other poor babies who are finally getting healthy after such neglect... One of our most recent horses from there is positively sick with parasites, internal and external. Here he is enjoying a meal (for once) in the care of SERR. You can see the wounds and how horrible he looks. He was crawling with lice and full of worms. SERR didn't take in all the horses that have come from there, but this guy was one of many that broke my heart.  | |

 | Cowgirly- Seeing that chesnut colt just tears me up. He was a beautiful HEALTHY horse when he came into PEC's it makes me sick to think what happened to him and see the shape he is now. I certainly hope she gets the maximim sentence. |

| Senior Member+ | last night there were 8 horses found at PEC (I was told) and animal control was advised and said "this is not a witch hunt". what??? how can a person who is charged with 4 counts of animal cruelty have horses in her possession? |
