| Senior Member | De Worming Schedule help needed! I have another post going about my 12 year old mare and how she is a little on the thin side but has a large belly at the same time. I really think it has a lot to do with worms since she has never really been on a good schedule. The last time I wormed her was about a month ago with Panacur and before then it was mostly PP and occasionally ivermectin. I know...bad mother. I just don't know too much about it and feel so over whelmed with trying to find out on my own. I have read some other posts about it but there are so many different schedules out there since every horse is different. I would really love some suggestions so I can get my girl looking good again. So some info. I have one other horse but she is for sale so she will be the only horse soon hopefully. She is outside 24/7 unless going to a show the next day or it rains horribly bad. Her turnout is pretty large. I rotate her in one turnout to another which is a bunch of trails and woods. There isn't much grass. Please help! Thanks. |
