I did not give up on him, I don't like putting it that way because I was the only person up to working with him and did as much as I could with him but he went so long without handling that he was a huge danger to anyone without a huge amount of experience. I stopped because it was in my best interest because other wise, he would have probably broken some bone on me or worse.

So why isn't he with a trainer that could solve his problems?
Its horses being put away like that that turn into horses that need to be tied behind a wagon in the first place.

So if you did not have the experience or knowledge to deal with that horse what makes you think you have the knowledge or experience to tell my how to deal with or not deal with one of mine or tell DB how to deal with hers?

Sorry I do not see a proven track record. I have a proven track record as does DB.

THIS IS NOT A FOAL.... we are talking about a mature horse.... BTW 2 horses is NOT experience.... that is just a rough draft...

He is not my horse, if he was he would have never gotten to the point he is now. He belongs to the BO who does nothing with any of his horses. He just runs the barn, he doesn't even ride. He's a lawyer and the barn was passed down from his father.

We've tied horses who used to pull back to inner tubes wrapped around a big post in the round pen and just stood back and let them fly at 'er. Fixed all of them after one time too. Of course we stood there, ready to cut the rope or jump in there if something were to happen.

I don't see how it's much different than what Cindy and hubby did.

Heck we halter broke some of our 4-H (CATTLE) projects with a tractor LOL

I never said it was a foal. I said I worked with foal for a small amout of time. Anything is experience and everyone must start somewhere. Anything that has to do with doing something is experience if something is learned, so yes I have expierence. As much as the best out there, no. But experience is experience!

People without experience should not be making remarks like this because you have NOTHING to back it up with. IF I suggest something I can give you the name of the horse and the way in which I CORRECTED the problem. Sorry I am really coming down on you but I am fed up with "keyboard" trainers telling those of us who have been in the trenches dealing with (FLESH and BLOOD) LIVE horses who do respond to our methods that we are not doing the right thing.
