Daisy's Recovery *pics*

Hi guys! I just got back from the barn and i wanted to update you on her condition: She went through the electrical fence 2 weeks ago and got a really bad burn on her armpit. Well today we went out there for probably the 10th time in 2 weeks, only to find that about 1/2 and inch of skin has grown in! Its been a long healing, only because of the burns location. We've seen ever stage of it: right from the tender initial burn, to the scabby "horse jerky", to the open wound and finally to the closing right now When she first got it she was lame due to the swelling, but after about a week she was fine (less the burn itself)... Ive attached some photos just for you guys on what the burn looks like today Ive also added some lunging and in-hand pictures...

1. Her burn... its got about 1/2 and inch of skin now! By the way the lumps are not granulation tissue (proud flesh) its part of the newest scabs in the cycle.
2. Her face.. HEHE
3. Trying to get her to square up.
4. Me grooming her right after i put her ointment on.
5. The creme on her leg.
6. Teaching her to accept the sounds and movements of a whip
7. Squaring her up after in hand and lunging
8. more standing shots..
9. Another bugly-eyed photo
10.Rubbing her with the string on the end of the whip, trying some trust exercises.

*NOTE* anyone know how to share films on here? i have a couple clips to post if someone could please help? THANKS!

Ouch, looks like it was painful, glad to hear that it's healing up. She's a real nice looking girl.

Yeah it was really gross before... i wish i had gotten some pics of when it was first there and then when it was opened. That would have been really neat to show the stages, but i was too busy trying to prevent proud flesh and infection
