Okay, well I was going to critique but MIEventer pretty much owns this thread!

I agree with you MIEventer, and I haven't even read all your above posts! But I don't have too, you always make good comments.

Well I just thought that I would update on how todays ride went. She was calm and collected (besides her normal in heat quirks) until the people riding in the arena below us decided to untack and let their horses gallop around.
Daisy went nutts! She really wanted to play.
So after that all happened she was jacked up with her head all up high in the bridle like a jumper and extending at the trot.
We did some tiny jumps with the lesson and then once they left my friend put the jumps up and when we got about three strides out of the jump she would actually lift herself up and pound her hooves on the ground like she was super excited to jump and then spring herself off the ground.
My friend on the ground was like amazed at what was happening and I think it was all because she brought herself up off her forehand and actually was pushing with her butt and picking her legs up!
I tried really hard to stay balanced and not jump ahead and Ellen said I was doing better than normal haha.

Anyway i felt like i had a true jumper for those few minutes we jumped around and everyone around said that she looked like a jumper too. I think that I just need to get her a little jazzed up before I jump instead of keeping her long and low because that made her seem bored but today she definately was acting like she liked to jump.
