Cross your fingers!

When I got home from visiting my parents after the long weekend, I immediately checked my email (I'm obsessed) and found an inquiry on Babe from one of the advertising sites that I'd posted her lease ad on.

I eagerly opened it up and was completely and utterly shocked to see that someone from my hometown is very interested in her, for their 11 and 17 year old daughters. After reading the email and thinking for a few minutes, I finally realized this: "Holy cow, I know these people!" My mom used to babysit the girls when we were all younger, and I've known the older one through school activities as well.

SO, I'm sure you can tell I'm quite excited. They have a place set up where Babe would be boarded (also people I know and trust) and from the questions they've been asking me, they know more about horses than I'd originally thought.

If all goes well I will be inviting them to see Babe on the weekend and to take her for a test ride. Please cross your fingers for me! This seems way too good to be true!

Good luck with the sale, sounds like it might be a good place for her, and you could still see her from time to time!
