Critique our jumping; pics, second lesson

Here's some pics of me jumping on Skyway Jamelle. These were taken yesterday at our second lesson. The rails were set at about 2'. Any constructive critisism/critique would be welcomed. (This time we're jumping in a jumping saddle, and not a dressage saddle! )

I love how you are looking up in all of the photos, thats a great habit!!! It seems like you are giving a nice release, maybe a bit too much for these types of fences, and in some photos it looks like you are leaning on his neck. Don't throw your body away and jump for the horse, let the horse jump for you.

Great job for your second lesson!

Great! Thanks so much! That'll give me some things to work on! Which photos I'm I leaning on her neck? I'd like to get a good idea so I can work on it during my next lesson!
Anyone else?

it kinda looks like you are leaning into one stirrup more then the other...
in this pic you can see what i mean

it looks like you have lost contact abit after the jump.. loose reins. But this is coming from an unexperienced person for critiques so...
and it looks like your heels go up on the landing..

Yea, I can totally see that. Thanks for posting. I think these pics were taken mostly before my trainer yelled at me to pick up my reins!
Still working on that, but thanks for mentioning it again, it's bound to help if people keep reminding me!
I'll work on my heels. I seem to have trouble with losing my stirrup after the jump, probably due to my heels not being down.
Thanks for the critique!

Anyone else?

Excellent eye...you are 100% correct....now...look closely at her butt....do you see how it is more to one side than the other..that is a collapsed hip with the classic issues...her right leg "hangs" down while the left one has been"lifted" at the knee and pushed forward from the uneven hip/seat bone placement ( one hip/seat bone is ahead of the other)
in this pic you can see what i mean

But this is coming from an unexperienced person for critiques so...

Very good foundation is forming in your eye...you are seeing what you see...now...to go that extra step...start looking for the cause and I think you will improve quickly

and it looks like your heels go up on the landing..
Again...you are correct...but this time....concentrating of the lower part of the leg *hint*...ignore the knee...we already know there is a pinch...but...look for the "cause" of your opinion...and look for any other issues the "cause"...has caused...and you just may answer a riding question/riding issue for the OP

OP...I hope you do not mind...but this "novice"....has a good eye...and I think she can do it...thank you for this
