Critique my yearling!

This is Tyger. He's something like 67% arabian, then has a mix of QH, TB and Riding pony. He's a BIG boy, leg measurement saying he'll go 17hh, elbow to fetlock (or whatever that one is) says he's going 16.2... from a 15hh mum and a 16hh dad... Anyhoo, he's 18 months now. Pick him apart! Oh, by the way, try to pick around the pot belly, if you can. Where trying to get rid of it, but nothing seems to be working.

Oh he is precious! And such a pretty color. I think I would like his shoulder a little lower and he looks a bit weak in the back end. Maybe a longer hip? His topline is beautiful though and his neck is YUM! Legs to his pasterns looks good too. He could be a nice Halter horse if I do say so myself!

Hope you guys have fun. In this pic he does look a little like he is parked out. So I cannot really critique is back legs. Anywhoo! He is a cutie!

Thanks Divina! I think his hindquarter looks weak here because he's growing in the front in this photo, but I don't know enough to be sure.

Hes wonderfull, what do you plan on using him for?? His front legs look pretty Straight as far as I can tell, Hard to tell on his back legs, and about his Engine (hindquaters) hes a baby, should fill in as he trains more, and grows a bit. You should see my Standie lol, Has skinny but nice neck(hopefully grows) again babies lol. Honestly other then his Engine, he is a very good looking horse, He has a lot of the TB looks which I personally love. Hes Beautiful.

And how did you get him to stand like that? I'm trying to get my yearling to stand nice for photos. Can you give me any tips?

LOL- "Tyger" (adorable) will probably grow into his back end, you are right. After seeing all of these baby pics it makes me want to get some pics of my baby on here! Sadly he wasn't to pretty growing up. Cielo was always awkward...

Anyway, glad I could help and hopefully more people will weigh in. To 2cd Brandy- what are you going to do with him?

I could see him a Hunt class. Regardless he looks like fun. I love how attentive he is to the "food" in your? hand!
